The Problem

Years of weathering had created lots of problem detailed areas with preparation work required to reinforce weak areas
Various areas had failed and lifted due to debonding and failed joint repairs and flashings as well as the start of corrosion

How did we approach the challenge:

Facilitated a site visit between our technical team, contractor (JDB Refurbishments) and building owner. We then gave guidance on the best system to use with the substrate and explained how to tackle areas that were weak and would need strengthening. Extra guidance given on the problem areas and different profiles.

Delivering the Solution

Regular on-site visits were made at various stages to inspect the works carried out
The Advantage^® Metal Graphene Primer was used due to the level of the
corrosion areas on the roof
Advantage^® Sealant was applied on the joints
Completed with one coat Advantage^® Graphene for metal roofs, that was applied to the whole roof
