- The existing coating had come to the end of it's mechanical and aesthetic life, with material breakdown in numerous places especially at the rear of the building offering, little to no protection of the original steel
- This was especially prominent at the bottom of the sheets as they had started to corrode right through
- The Client required full protection for the building as well as improving the look to be as good as new
How did we approach the challenge:
We attended a detailed site visit and inspection between our technical team and the contractor USP Coatings. We then gave guidance on the best system to use with the substrate and we put forward our recommendations for preparation and repairs prior to any application of materials.
